Empowering Classrooms
We believe every teacher should have the tools they need to support their students. That’s why we allocate funds directly to each classroom- so teachers can purchase supplies, materials, and resources tailored to their students' unique needs. Whether it’s flexible seating, science kits, or art materials, these funds help spark curiosity and support meaningful learning every day.
Supporting Active, Healthy Kids
We partner with BGS Kids to bring high-quality physical education to every Taylor student through our full-time coach. With structured lessons during P.E. and fun, cooperative games at recess, students stay active while learning essential life skills like teamwork, conflict resolution, and communication.
Beyond fitness, these programs support social-emotional growth and create a positive, inclusive playground environment. From hula hoops and jump ropes to structured team games, every child has the opportunity to move, play, and grow each day.
Fostering Creativity
Art belongs in every classroom. Through the Art Vistas program, funded entirely by the PTA, students in every grade participate in five engaging art lessons each year. Guided by trained volunteers, these hands-on sessions introduce students to different artistic styles, media, and cultural perspectives. It's a chance for kids to express themselves, think creatively, and explore new ways of seeing the world—all while having fun and making something meaningful.
Enriching Learning Through Field Trips
Field trips turn learning into adventure! We help fund grade-level trips that connect classroom lessons to real-world experiences—like science museums, historical sites, nature centers, and more. These experiences broaden horizons, deepen understanding, and create lasting memories for our students. We believe all children should have access to these opportunities, regardless of financial barriers.
Strengthening Our School
In addition to classroom and student programs, the PTA helps fund school-wide improvements and initiatives. From upgrading equipment to supporting teacher training, beautifying campus spaces, or responding to emerging needs, we work in close partnership with school leadership to make Taylor even better for students, staff, and families. Every dollar raised helps ensure our school is a welcoming, well-equipped place to learn and grow.
Celebrating Community
At Taylor, we believe in building strong connections between families, students, and staff. That’s why we host inclusive, family-friendly events throughout the year—like the Harvest Festival, Family Dance & Auction, Bingo Night, Taylor Olympics, and more. These gatherings give families a chance to celebrate, connect, and create shared memories that build a sense of pride and belonging.
Creating Joyful Moments
School should be full of moments that spark joy and wonder. We support beloved traditions like the Polar Express pajama reading, school-wide assemblies, and movie nights under the stars. These special experiences bring magic to the school year and help students feel seen, valued, and excited to be part of the Taylor community.
